AOD-9604

What Is AOD-9604?
AOD-9604 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 176–191 of the human growth hormone (hGH) molecule. Unlike full-length growth hormone, this peptide was designed to investigate biological pathways associated with lipid metabolism without replicating the complete hormonal activity of hGH.
Research has explored its pharmacological properties in laboratory models and clinical studies, although findings have been mixed and additional investigation is needed to clarify its physiological effects and potential applications. (Ng FM et al., Obesity Research, 2000; Heffernan MA et al., Endocrine, 2001.)
