Gonadorelin

What Is Gonadorelin?
Gonadorelin is a synthetic version of gonadotropin-releasing hormone, or GnRH, a naturally occurring decapeptide produced by the hypothalamus.
GnRH binds to receptors in the anterior pituitary and influences the release of luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone. Because the biological response depends partly on the timing and pattern of receptor stimulation, gonadorelin has been studied in reproductive endocrinology, pituitary-function testing, and research involving the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. Its regulatory status and authorized uses vary by formulation and jurisdiction.

Current Research
Research has examined gonadorelin in relation to pituitary signaling, gonadotropin secretion, reproductive physiology, and endocrine assessment.
