KPV

What Is KPV?
KPV is a tripeptide composed of lysine, proline, and valine. It represents the C-terminal amino-acid sequence of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone, a naturally occurring melanocortin peptide. Preclinical studies have examined KPV in models involving inflammatory signaling, epithelial cells, intestinal tissue, and immune responses.
Although these studies provide mechanistic information, reliable human clinical evidence remains extremely limited and proposed applications have not been established through large controlled trials.
